Autumn Is Cape Season
This little vintage beauty first captured my eye at the start of the season. I was wandering around Beyond Retro when I saw someone else trying it on. I practically stalked it, pretending to look at other items while secretly glancing back to the other end of the shop to see what was happening. Finally I saw that she had put it back on the shelf, at which point I gleefully claimed it as my own. It’s quite bold and different to my usual everyday attire, and several weeks after making the purchase I was still too nervous about wearing it. Until today.
